The wind has been taking its toll on my little garden. I've pretty much given up on my strawberry plant even though there are about dozen strawberries on it. But the sweet potato vines are looking positive. And yesterday the first two flowers on my pumpkin vine bloomed.
The flower's a little wind-blown, but it's there. Now when will the pumpkins show up?

i understand about the wind. we gave up on our garden already. june was 100 and up with 45 mph wind. we couldn't keep it watered enough. good luck with the pumpkins
Fortunately, we haven't had a lot of really hot days. This time last year we were experiencing an awful heatwave.
