This song is not biographical
I just can't resist a beagle with so much talent. And the tune is quite catchy as well. If I had a kid, I'd make her listen to They Might Be Giants all day.

You're right about a talented beagle and a catchy tune, but I'm not sure letting your child listen to it everyday is such a great idea. It doesn't teach very good work habits. I guess you don't have to worry about that just yet since you don't have kids.
Well, maybe I wouldn't make my kid listen to this song every day, but there are plenty of other They Might Be Giants song.
