Okay, did you count up the differences? Let's start with the obvious -- Brian is putting bunny ears on Sharkdog in the second photo. And then there's the slightly less obvious -- the couch is pulled out into a bed.
Yep, that's right. We've been living in this apartment with this couch for about 7 months and only today did we discover that the couch turns into a bed. I wish we had known that last week when we walked around for about 3 hours looking for a shop that sells air mattresses.

Glad to see that bed. Dad just asked me tonight about the sleeping arrangements while we are there. Looks like you've got us covered. 11 days and counting...
I guess I don't have to make room for an air mattress when I finally get to come visit.
Lisa - I'm still surprised about it. I had even looked under the other side of the couch to see if there was storage under it (that's kind of typical) and had tried to lift the cushion on the side with the bed. But the cushion doesn't move. The couch beds here work more like a trundle bed instead of what I'm used to in the U.S.
Mom - We've got it all planned out. Plenty of room for everyone.
Ty - This isn't a BYOB (bring your own bed) place. We now have two air mattresses and the couch-bed. So you can have your pick!
