Photohunt: Sad

I spent last week at a women's retreat in a small Austrian village. While exploring the town one day, I noticed a boy leading a young goat into the middle of a pasture and tying him to telephone pole. The goat wasn't too happy about being left alone and was bleating his little heart out. He reminded me a bit of Sharkdog, who also has abandonment issues.

Lonely goat

Oh, how sad. I always feel for the animals as they don't understand. Gorgeous photo though.

What a great shot! Love the sad little tail. Really enjoyed having a play on sharkdog's blog as well. His name had me in absolute stitches - what a great name for such a grand dog.

I think I kept hearing that silly goat half the day and thinking it was a kid (no pun intended) or something. Of course, being away from all three of my kids had me "on alert" so to speak. Glad I figured out what the noise was :-)
