Movin' on up

Well, we're movin' on up
(We're a movin' on up.)
To the east side.
(Mo-vin' on up.)
To a de-luxe apartment,
In the sky.

Come on, guys. Sing along!

Mo-vin' on up
(Mo-vin' on up.)
To the east side,
(Mo-vin' on up.)
We finally got a piece
of the pie.

Now wasn't that fun? It would have been, if you had only joined in! In case you haven't figured it out, we have an apartment now. I don't know if I would call it "deluxe", but we certainly are "moving up" -- it's on the 7th floor!

We got the keys yesterday and the landlord was supposed to finish cleaning it today. We're going to take a look at it in the morning and hopefully move in sometime this week. I promise more details and photos tomorrow. But for now, you'll just have to imagine.

Oh, and if you want our address, just send me an email or leave your email address in the comments section.

Yay! I'm glad y'all found a place to live. I'd like your address when you get a chance.

So, has your container arrived yet? If not, I guess moving will be really easy!

(P.S. I was totally singing, too.)

I've had the song stuck in my head for the past 2 or 3 days!

The container has arrived, but since all four families shipped our stuff together it all has to go through customs together. I hope we can all get our paperwork finished this week, but that may be a little optimistic.

The apartment looks very nice. I am so happy that you have found a place that you both seem to like. I was wondering though where are you going to put the table? The two of you never cease to amaze me with your videos. love mom

You guys rock...that video could not have been any funnier. The apartment looks great. And those hanging lights over the coffee table...very rhetro chic.

Rhonda - It's going to be a little crowded, but the table should fit in the living room. (It's pretty common to have the dining table in the living room.)

Emily - Glad you like the video. I think the lights are going to have to go. Regardless of where you sit on the couch, you're looking right into the lights. Can't be good for the eyes. Maybe the couch will have to go, too.
